Green Ganges was founded in 2022 to answer a question most portfolios answer badly: what does real diversification look like when every asset class has become a bet on the same thing?
We are a fundamental multi-asset manager. We research individual opportunities across equities, credit, rates, currencies and commodities the slow way — building a view we can defend, and writing down in advance what would prove us wrong. A global macro overlay sits above that work. It is not a forecast. It tells us which of our ideas the world is currently willing to pay for, and how large we are permitted to be. The result is a book constructed for asymmetry: positions whose downside we have deliberately capped, held together in a way that does not depend on markets going up.
We are deliberately small, we invest our own capital alongside our investors', and we would rather be uninteresting for four quarters than wrong in a way that compounds.
